LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Another chance is coming for fans hoping to attend the 2028 L.A. Olympics, with organizers announcing a second ticket release later this year.
Olympic officials say the second ticket drop opens in August.
The upcoming release will be open to those who did not register, were not selected in the first phase, or did not purchase the 12-ticket maximum during the initial sale.
Officials say the second drop will include ticket inventory from every sport and will feature a range of price points.
More than 4 million tickets were purchased during the first drop earlier this month.
The first round of sales generated high demand but also widespread frustration among fans. Ticket buyers have raised concerns over high costs, popular events selling out quickly, and technical issues during the purchase process.
