The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Trey Mendel.

HIDDEN HILLS (KABC) -- A Hidden Hills home belonging to Kim Kardashian was burglarized over the weekend, resulting in the arrest of a 27-year-old man, authorities confirmed.
A security guard called the police just before 4 p.m. Sunday to report the burglary, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Neither Kardashian nor her children were in the home, which is undergoing renovations.
The suspect, identified as Trey Mendel, entered the property through a side door and was later seen loading items into a car, the sheriff's department added.
Mendel also stole a car that was at the home and allegedly took it for a joyride before being arrested. Eyewitness News has confirmed that the car belongs to a staff member, not Kardashian herself.
Mendel remains in custody on charges of burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent. Charges have not been formally filed, but the case will be presented to the L.A. County District Attorney for review.
Kardashian has not publicly commented on the incident, but it's not the first time she's been the target of a crime.
Back in 2016, five masked gunman disguised as police allegedly stored her Paris luxury hotel sweet, bound and gagged her and made off with roughly $10 million in jewelry.
Eventually, eight people were found guilty in connection to the armed robbery.
