Darrell Sheets, 'Storage Wars' star known as 'The Gambler,' dies at 67, reports say

Darrell Sheets, best known as a cast member on the reality television series "Storage Wars," has died. He was 67.

Sheets was found dead at his home in Lake Havasu, Arizona, early Wednesday morning.

According to multiple media reports, police officers who responded to the scene said the apparent cause of death was suicide. An official cause is expected to be determined after an investigation by the Mohave County medical examiner's office.

Sheets, who was affectionately known by the nickname "The Gambler," regularly made appearances on the TV show "Storage Wars," which followed entrepreneurial purchasers of abandoned storage units in Southern California, hoping to find valuable items that could then be sold for profit.

Mary Padian, one of Sheets' co-stars on the show, was among those who took to social media to express their grief and condolences after learning of his death.

"Some people become part of a chapter in your life that you never forget," Padian wrote in the caption of a photo that showed her and Sheets. "You will be missed Darell."
