Crash involving big rig shuts down some northbound lanes of 14 Fwy in Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- A car collided with a semi-truck on the 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita, prompting the closure of several northbound lanes Wednesday.

The crash was reported around noon at Newhall Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic log.

AIR7 was over the scene where at least the two right lanes were blocked. What appeared to be a sedan was wedged under the back of the big rig with a white cloth covering it.
