1 person dead, 2 others hurt in Santa Ana triple shooting, police say

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- One person is dead and two others are injured after a triple shooting in Santa Ana on Sunday night.

The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. near Borchard Avenue and Shelton Street, close to Mater Dei High School.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and the third victim was said to be in stable condition.

So far, Santa Ana police have not released any information on the suspect(s).

It's unknown what exactly led up to the deadly shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
